Photographing Snowdrops - Walsingham Abbey - Group Photography Walk - Morning Session*
Location: Walsingham Abbey, Norfolk
Event Info: Relaxed group photography walk for beginners and hobbyists. This walk provides an opportunity for attendees to practice landscape and horticultural photography alongside other friendly/creative people. The walk will be led by Jon Clifton
Date/Time/Distance: Sunday 12th February 2023 - 10:15am - The walk will last approx. 2 hours / 5-6KM (approx.)

Details: For this event, we'll be visiting Walsingham Abbey in North Norfolk to photograph the grounds and annual display of snowdrops. Walsingham Abbey is an incredibly peaceful location for a stroll and some photography practice. The 20 acre grounds are home to ruins, ancient bridges, waterways, woodland and from late January to March, covered by a carpet of tiny brilliant white snowdrop flowers. Our walk will take us around the grounds and provide an opportunity to photograph the snowdrops and this beautiful location.
Walks are aimed at beginner and hobbyist photographers. During our walk we'll stop at various points where you'll be free to wander a little and capture images in your own creative style. I'll be on hand to guide the walk, offer direction and answer any questions you may have.

On request of Walsingham Abbey and as a condition of entry, please note that any images you take during the walk are not to sold or used for commercial purposes. Anyone found to be in breach of this request will be banned from all future photo walk events and may face claims against earnings from Walsingham Abbey. Posting of images on social media sites IS permitted.
Car Parking: Yes - The Old Mill Car Park - Pay and Display (cards/cash accepted) - NR22 6DH - This is the postcode for the village centre, please follow signs from here to find the car park.
Accessible via Public Transport: Yes but times are irregular (please email before booking if you require travel information)
Toilet Facilities: Yes - both at the Abbey entrance and in the village centre
Refreshments/Cafe: Yes, there are cafes and restaurants in Walsingham Village
Weather: The walk will go ahead in most weathers. For safety reasons, if there is any level of weather warning (yellow/amber/red) or heavy rain/thunder storms/snow/strong winds forecast, the walk will be cancelled and a full refund provided.
Emergency Contact: Attendees are required to provide a personal mobile number and details for an emergency contact. This information will only be used for emergency purposes if/as required. This information will be securely stored and disposed of/deleted within 21 days of the walk ending. Names and phone numbers will not be used for marketing or any other purpose. This information is required for your own safety.
Attendees will be emailed 48-72 hours before the event with final joining instructions, a weather update and a link to provide contact information.
Booking price: £25.00 (this includes walk and Abbey entrance fee)
*Please note that if this morning session gets fully booked, an additional afternoon session will be added. Bookings are not transferable.
