Norfolk Photography Walks 5th Anniversary - Group Walk and Beach Hut Afternoon

To celebrate our 5th birthday, a beach hut has been hired as somewhere to gather for lunch and the afternoon.
Date and start time: Sunday 9th June 2024 - 10:30am
(our photo walk will take around. 2 hours - the hut is hired until 8pm latest - after our walk, please feel free to come and go as you wish)
Meeting Place: Wells next the Sea Beach - Beach Hut details will be emailed shortly after booking. Beach Road car park is 5 minutes from the hut.
Event Fee: £35.00

Details: For photo walks 5th birthday, we'll be heading to the beautiful beach at Wells next the Sea. After meeting at our hired hut for the day, we'll take a walk along the dunes towards Holkham. Heading a little inland, our return route will take us back to Wells through the pinewoods. During our walk, I'll be offering direction and different themes to challenge and help with your photography, you'll have the chance to photograph Norfolk's most beautiful beach, land, sea, sky and woodland.
The walk is aimed primarily at beginner and hobbyist photographers but is open to everyone who loves photography, the outdoors and the Norfolk coast. Any camera type is fine (smartphones included).
Please don't worry if you're new to photography, our events aren't at all competition based and everyone is made to feel welcome. Group workshops/walks aren't intended to be in depth/technical tuition sessions but more of an opportunity for like minded folk to get together to practice taking photographs (with some gentle guidance and direction). If you have any concerns or questions before booking your place, please just drop me an email.
After our walk, we'll head to our beach hut where you'll be free to spend the afternoon and to come and go as you please. Lunch isn't provided but tea/coffee is available in the hut. As it's a birthday, expect cake and fizz (alcoholic and non). The beach cafe, car park and toilets are only a few minutes walk away. Please feel free to bring lunch and drinks with you.
Car Parking: Yes - Pay and Display (cash/card accepted) - NR23 1DR - All day car parking is £10 / up to 4 hours is £6.50
Accessible via Public Transport: Yes - buses from Fakenham or King's Lynn - please email if you require help with journey planning
Toilet Facilities: Yes - next to the car park
Refreshments/Cafe: Yes - The Beach Cafe - next to the Car Park
Weather: If there's a forecast of torrential rain or any type of weather warning, the walk will be cancelled. No less the 24 hours notice will be provided by email with information on cancellation. Full terms and conditions can be found via the link below. If the walk has to be cancelled for any reason (including but not limited to poor weather), a full refund will be provided.
Emergency Contact: Attendees are required to provide personal contact details and emergency contact details before the start of each event. This information will only be used in the event of emergency as required. This information will be securely stored and disposed of within 21 days of the walk ending. Names and phone numbers will not be used for any other purpose. This information is required for your own safety.
