Details: For this event, we'll be visiting Walsingham Abbey in North Norfolk to photograph the annual display of snowdrops. Walsingham Abbey is an incredibly peaceful location for a stroll and some photography practice. The 20 acre grounds are home to ruins, ancient bridges, waterways, woodland and from late January to March, covered by a carpet of tiny brilliant white snowdrop flowers. Our walk will take us on a loop around the grounds and our chosen date is when the snowdrops are at their peak.
Walks are aimed at beginner and hobbyist photographers. During our walk we'll stop at different points where you'll be free to wander a little and capture images in your own creative style. I'll offer some gentle direction at the start of our visit but as we walk, you'll be fee to wander and shoot whatever you find appealing. I'll never be far away and always happy to answer any questions you have relating to your camera settings and composition.

On request of Walsingham Abbey and as a condition of entry, please note that any images you take during the walk are not to sold or used commercially. Anyone found to be in breach of this request may face claims against earnings from Walsingham Abbey. Posting of images on social media IS permitted.
Car Parking: Yes - The Old Mill Car Park - Pay and Display (cards/cash accepted) - NR22 6DH - This is the postcode for the village centre, please follow signs from here to find the car park.
Accessible via Public Transport: Yes but times are irregular (please email before booking if you require travel information)
Refreshments: In previous years the nearby cafe has been closed before we enter the grounds, there is a shop nearby but please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
Toilet Facilities: Yes - both at the Abbey entrance and in the village centre
Weather: If there is any level of weather warning (yellow/amber/red) or heavy rain/thunder storms/snow/strong winds forecast, the walk will be cancelled and a full refund provided (24+ hours notice will be provided by email).
Emergency Contact: Attendees are asked to provide a personal mobile number and details for an emergency contact. This information will only be used for emergency purposes if/as required. This information will be stored digitally and deleted within 21 days of the walk ending. Names and phone numbers will not be used for marketing or any other purpose. This information is required for your own safety.
Attendees will be emailed 48-72 hours before the event with final joining instructions, a weather update and a link to provide contact information.
