Details: For this group walk, we'll be spending a few hours at Pensthorpe Natural Park nr. Fakenham in mid/west Norfolk. There is much to see including wildlife, lakes, wetland and stunning gardens. At this time of year the park will be full of life, our visit offers an opportunity to learn and practice photography with a friendly group, also the chance to surround yourself with the wonderful sights and sounds of nature in late spring. Join us to learn, to escape, to make new (or meetup with) friends and to explore one of Norfolk's most popular tourist attractions.
Walks are aimed at beginner and hobbyist photographers, at the start of our visit I'll offer some themes and gentle direction for those who might need some guidance. At various points during the walk we'll stop and you'll free to wander to capture images in your own creative style. I'll be on hand to take a look at your images, to offer technical/practical advice and to answer any questions you may have.
Group walks aren't intended to be in depth technical tuition sessions, due to the mix of abilities and camera types in a group these tend to work best on a 1-2-1 basis. for details on 1-2-1 walks, please click > here <
Group walks offer a relaxed way to develop your photographic vision and to learn the basics of camera control.
Car Parking: Yes - Pensthorpe has it's own car park (included in admission price)
Accessible via Public Transport: Buses run along the road adjacent to the park - please let me know if you'd like help with journey planning
Toilet Facilities: Yes at the park entrance
Refreshments/Cafe: Yes - Pensthorpe has it's own cafe
Weather: The walk will go ahead in most weathers. However, in the interests of safety, if there is a forecast of heavy rain/snow/thunder storms or any level of weather warning (yellow/amber/red), the walk will be cancelled and a full refund provided. 24+ hours notice will be given.
Emergency Contact: Attendees are required to provide a personal mobile number and details for an emergency contact. This information will only be used for emergency purposes if/as required. This information will be securely stored and disposed of within 21 days of the walk ending. Names and phone numbers will not be used for any other purpose. This information is required for your own safety.
Attendees will be emailed 48-72 hours before the event with final joining instructions, a weather update and a link to provide contact information.
