Details: Bawsey Country Park is a 176 acre park situated in West Norfolk, it was originally created for sand quarrying but nature has now reclaimed the site making it one of the most beautiful places in the area to visit. Our 1.5 (approx.) mile walk will take us from the car park around the great lake. On route there'll be opportunities to photograph woodland (texture, details, ICMs), waterways/lake views and landscapes.
This photo walk is aimed at beginners and hobbyists looking to learn and practice photography within a small and friendly group. While I'm happy to advise on correct settings and modes, group photo walks aren't intended to be in depth/technical tuition sessions but more of an opportunity for like minded folk to get together and practice taking photographs (with gentle guidance and direction).
Any camera type is fine (smartphones included). If you have any concerns or questions before booking your place, please just drop me an email.

Car Parking: Yes - £2.50 per hour (payable on exit)
Accessible via Public Transport: No but If you require (or are happy to offer) a lift share, please just let me know

Weather: Photography walks are dependant on the weather. If there's a forecast of heavy rain or any type of weather warning, the walk will be cancelled. No less than 24 hours notice will be provided by email with information on cancellation. Full terms and conditions can be found via the link above. If the walk has to be cancelled for any reason (including but not limited to poor weather), a full refund will be provided.
Emergency Contact: Attendees are required to provide personal contact details and emergency contact details before the start of each event. This information will only be used in an emergency if required. This information will be securely stored (digitally) and disposed of (deleted) within 21 days of the walk ending. Names and phone numbers will not be used for any other purpose. This information is required for your own safety. I'll email 2-3 days before the walk to ask for this information.
