Details: With over 80 species of Rhododendron and Azalea to see and woodland to explore, Sheringham Park is a beautiful place to visit all year round. Our May group walk has been planned for the peak of Rhododendron season and is the perfect time to visit with a camera. The walk will take us through the park to 3 different viewing platforms then onto the gazebo (stepped access only) with incredible views across countryside to Weybourne and the coast. The plan is to have lunch in the park, there is a cafe on site or please feel free to bring your own.
Group walks aren't planned to be in depth technical tuition sessions but offer guests the opportunity to learn and practice photography in beautiful places with some professional guidance. You'll be free to photograph whatever you find appealing but at the start of the walk will be offered some themes as gentle inspiration. Weather: With your wellbeing a priority, photo walks are heavily dependent on the weather. If there's a forecast of heavy rain or any type of weather warning, the walk will be cancelled. 24+ hours notice will be provided by email with information on cancellation. Full terms and conditions can be found via the link above (highlighted red). If the walk is cancelled for any reason (including but not limited to poor weather), a full refund will be provided.
Emergency Contact: A few days before the walk, attendees will be asked to provide up to date contact info for themselves and an emergency contact. This information will be used only in emergencies - on the day updates, accidents / sudden illness. This information will be securely stored (digitally) and disposed of (deleted) within 21 days of the walk ending. Names and phone numbers will not be used for marketing or any other purpose. This information is required for your own safety and wellbeing.
