Private Photo Walks...
Private photo walks are aimed at beginner and hobbyist photographers, or those simply looking to explore beautiful places with a friendly and professional guide. Walks and tours make great gifts for loved ones, perhaps as a treat for yourself, something different for a date idea or family/friends time together.
From incredible scenery and Norfolk's big skies to steam trains and stunning gardens, there is always something to see, photograph and enjoy here, whether you choose to book a short walk or weekend tour on your own, with a partner or friend, or as a group of friends/family (max.7), it'll be great to welcome you along.
At the start of our walk you'll be offered some visual themes and gentle direction to inspire, then guidance throughout. We'll focus on composition, using different camera modes and adjusting settings. Whether you have a film, smartphone, bridge, DSLR or Mirrorless camera that you'd like to learn about and get more from, I'd love to help!

1-2-1 Walks (3 hours) - £85
1-2-2 Couples Walk (3 hours) - £145
For longer session lengths and larger group pricing, please get in touch.
Prices do not include attraction entrance fees (where required for guest/s and host), refreshments or car parking.
Scenic Norfolk Locations
Not an exhaustive list but locations I like to visit to teach include: Thornham, RSPB Snettisham, Old Hunstanton, Scolt Head Island, Holkham, Wells next the Sea (beach and/or town), Burnham Overy Staithe (quay, coast path and beach), King's Lynn (heritage trail), Norwich, Blakeney to Morston (coast path), Thornham (harbour, coast path and beach), Pensthorpe Natural Park and Gooderstone Water gardens, Kelling Heath and more...
Locations and tuition can be tailored to suit requirements, please don't hesitate to ask if you have somewhere in mind that you'd like to visit, or something that you're keen to photograph.

What dates are available for private walks and tours?
Private walks usually take place at weekends - when requesting a booking, please provide 3 dates (or start dates) for the best chance of availability. 2026 walks are now booking for weekends from February onwards.
Can I book as a gift?
Yes - Gift Vouchers are available for 3 hour 1-2-1 and couples walks.

What else do I need to know?
Walks are wholly dependent on the weather. If any type of yellow/amber/red warning is forecast, a walk will be cancelled or moved to an indoor location where viable. Walks and tours will go ahead in wet weather so please dress accordingly.
Ages 16+ only. If you're under 16 and would like to come along, please ask a parent or guardian to email and book on your behalf. I ask that anyone under 16 is accompanied by an adult on walk day.
As much as I love dogs, they tend to distract a bit when taking photographs so sadly aren't permitted for private photo walks.
Although we're likely to stop during our walk for refreshments, please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
Due to the mix of terrain in some locations, walks may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility, please ask before booking.
Walk lengths vary from 2-5 miles depending on location
Half or full length coast path walks can be planned for over 3-4 days. If that's something you'd like to do, please just let me know.
How do I request a booking?
To request a booking, please email [email protected] with details of:
1) Your name/s and a contact number/email address
2) Your preferred date/s (please supply at least 3 options for best chance of matching availability)
3) Any preferred locations
4) Your required session length
I'll respond within 48 hours to discuss your booking, once dates and details are confirmed, I'll provide an invoice request for payment.
Your booking is only confirmed once full payment is received.
