Details: For our Norwich in mono walking workshop, we'll be focusing on three different styles of photography - architecture, abstract and street. It's an opportunity to use black and white mode on your camera and to learn some different techniques for capturing eye catching monochrome images.
Starting from the railway station, our walk takes us around the riverside in Norwich, past Pull's Ferry, Cow Tower and Jarrold Bridge before we head into the city and the outskirts of the Cathedral then the cobbles of Elm Hill. After a short break for lunch, we'll spend some time in and around the market (inc. City Hall, The Forum and St. Peter Mancroft Church) before heading to the castle and finally back to the station where our loop walk will end at around 4/5pm.
While the walk is fairly long, there is a lot to see and the time will (as always!) pass very quickly. We'll take some rest stops on route and have a break for lunch to rest weary legs.
Photo walks are aimed primarily at beginner and hobbyist photographers but all abilities are welcome. Due to the group size and mix of abilities, walks tend not to be in depth technical tuition sessions but are more of an opportunity for like minded people to practice a great hobby with some professional direction, inspiration and guidance. All very relaxed, friendly and fun.
