Details: This residential weekend provides an opportunity for guests to explore and photograph a beautiful section of the North and West Norfolk coast over three days. Our time will be spent walking, taking photographs and enjoying some of the very best scenery that Norfolk has to offer. At the end of each walk, guests will be invited (but should not feel compelled) to share images they've taken and we'll look at some basic editing techniques using Photoshop. If you have your own laptop or tablet with Photoshop or other editing software, please do bring it, otherwise I'll transfer images to my laptop for demonstration purposes.
Our base is a short drive from the coast where we'll spend time visiting beaches at Holme, Old Hunstanton and Titchwell, we'll also visit the Old Harbour at Thornham and RSPB Titchwell nature reserve.

Who is the weekend aimed at? Everyone who loves photography and walking or is keen to learn, explore and be inspired by an experienced guide and like minded group of people. All camera types are fine, from smartphones to film cameras and the very latest mirrorless tech. The weekend will be a chance to relax in beautiful surroundings and along with planned walks, there will be some free time to enjoy as you wish. For those with DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, tripods and remote release shutters are recommended as are small fold up stalls/chairs. Our walks and location visits will be unrushed, after an introduction to our location and being offered some themes, you'll be encouraged to find an area to photograph, to wait as the light/sky changes and to change camera settings to create immersive and creative imagery. I'll never be far away and will be happy to answer questions, advise on composition, settings and different things you can try.
