Norfolk Coast – Photo Walk Weekend - Itinerary
While it's always good to have a plan, these times are not set rigidly and act as a loose guide for what to expect over the weekend. More than anything, I want those who come to have a relaxing and enjoyable break. Away from the planned walks, your time is really yours – Times and plans may change depending on weather conditions, tide heights and other factors. I ask that you please keep the looseness of this plan in mind and be open to any such changes that occur. If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Friday 26th September
4pm onwards – arrival and check in – settle into rooms
6 – Introduction/Welcome in the Gin Trap lounge/bar
6:30 onwards – Option of free time or group dinner in The Gin Trap Restaurant
(please let me know if you'd like to join the group for dinner and I'll book a table)
Please don't worry if you can't arrive for theses times, I'll get your room key to pass on later.
Saturday 27th September
Breakfast at The Gin Trap
10:30 – Leave The Gin Trap, head to Thornham for Photo Walk 1
10:45 – Photo Walk 1 Thornham to Holme
Thornham Old Harbour, The Old Coal Barn, Moorings, Boats and Stumps
Holme Dunes – Land, Sea and Skyscape photography
12:30/1pm – Light Lunch/Refreshments at Holme Visitors Centre
3/4 – Walk ends back at Thornham Village Hall
4:30 – 5:30 - Free time or daily image review/basic processing advice back at The Gin Trap
5:30 onwards – Free time – Grab a G&T or beer in the bar or perhaps head out for dinner
Happy to advise on alternative locations for an evening meal.
Sunday 28th September
Breakfast at The Gin Trap
10:45 - Head to Old Hunstanton – Cliff Top Car Park for Photo Walk 2
11 – Photo Walk 2 – Old Hunstanton Lighthouse Loop
Beach, chalk cliffs, Sheraton Ship Wreck and Prom – Land, Sea and Skyscapes + Landmark Photography
1:30pm – 3 – Free time/Fish and Chip lunch in Hunstanton
3 – 4 – Walk back to the Lighthouse – back to car/s
4:30 – 5:30 – Free time or daily image review/basic processing advice back at The Gin Trap
6:30 – Option of Free time or group dinner in The Gin Trap Restaurant

Monday 29th September
Breakfast at the Gin Trap
10:30 – Check out and head to RSPB Titchwell for Photo Walk 3
11 – Photo Walk 3 RSPB Titchwell
Birdlife, Nature Reserve and beach – Land, Sea and Skyscapes + Nature Photography
2pm – Walk and weekend ends/light lunch/refreshments at RSPB Titchwell Cafe.
