Details (Subject to alteration): For this walk, we'll be hunting and photographing dinosaurs in the city of Norwich! GoGo Discover is charity art sculpture trail raising funds for Break charity. Photo walks are very proud to be co sponsors of a T-Rex sculpture with the 'Friends of Iceni'. In total there are 55 sculptures dotted around the city centre and outskirts, our short walk will be in the city centre only and will offer an opportunity to see and photograph a small selection of dinosaurs and some of Norwich's awesome landmarks. Please visit the Break website for more details on the trail > https://www.break-charity.org/discover-more/
Starting at The Forum, we'll walk a loop(ish) of the city centre that passes the Castle, Royal Arcade, Cathedral perimeter and Market Place... we'll be using the trail map to locate and photograph some of the amazing sculptures.
This photo walk/dinosaur hunt is aimed at parents and children (aged 8+), children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
When we find our different dinosaurs, I'll offer some suggestions of the best ways to photograph them and will be on hand to answer any questions. All camera types are fine, smartphones included. I'll have some instant cameras available for children to borrow and use too.
