Winter at Gooderstone - Group Photography Walk

Location: Gooderstone Water Gardens, Gooderstone, West Norfolk

Event Info: Guided group photography walk for beginners and hobbyists. This walk provides an opportunity for attendees to practice landscape/horticultural photography alongside other friendly/creative people. The walk will be led by Jon Clifton

Date and time: Sunday 30th January 2022 - 11am - this event will last approx. 2 hours.

Meeting Place: The Car Park/Entrance Hut - Sat Nav Postcode PE33 9BP

Details: After our visit in late autumn, for this group walk, we'll be returning to the beautifully peaceful and picturesque Gooderstone Water Gardens in West Norfolk to capture the grounds as they appear in winter. After meeting and a brief introduction from Jon, you'll be free to wander the grounds and take photographs at your own leisure. Jon will be walking and photographing the grounds himself and will never be far away to offer themes, answer any questions you may have or to offer advice on composition and camera settings. The gardens include 4 ponds, 13 numbered bridges, waterways, a nature trail and bird hide (if you're lucky, you may see a Kingfisher!). There is a tearoom on site and plenty of benches for those who just want to sit, relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Gooderstone Water Gardens is the perfect place to visit and escape for a couple of hours.

Photo walks are aimed at beginner and hobbyist photographers. Due to the mix of abilities attending, walks aren't designed to be in depth tuition sessions but more of a chance for friendly like minded people to get together to practice photography. Things only get as technical as the questions you ask. All camera types are fine, smartphones included.
